Police Custody

 

People who are detained by the Police under section 135 or 136 of the Mental Health Act will often be taken to their local Police Custody suite. When requested, it is our focus to ensure our response times are quick to ensure service users can be moved to a more appropriate place of safety without unnecessary delay. We can offer this service 24hrs/7 days a week at any notice.

We work in accordance with the Mental Health Act 1983 and the revised Mental Health Act 2007.

 

Our team is made up of highly qualified and carefully selected professionals who are extremely passionate about mental health.  We follow a person-centered holistic approach to provide and care for each service user as an individual.  We also use an empathetic approach which results in successful transfers.

All staff are DBS checked.
